After a versatile twenty-year career as a book and magazine editor in New York City, Boston, and San Francisco, Barbara (Tannenbaum) Copithorne made the switch to visual storytelling when her first child was born and she picked up a 16-mm camcorder.

While attending Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts (Waltham, MA), she began professional work ranging from filming and producing corporate web spots, nonprofit advocacy videos, video montages, documentaries, and DVDs of school events and weddings. Combining a trained editor's eye with a passion for detail, she has a lot of fun working with and for clients to bring their stories to life.
